Im The Dog

Im The Dog — image 1 of 5

A dog walking game where you play as the dog. Your handler is trying to go on a nice walk — you have other priorities.

The Walk

You're a dog on a leash. Your handler picks the route and sets the pace, and you're along for the ride — sort of. You can roam, pull, sniff around, and do your business, but the leash is only so long and your handler's patience is only so deep.

Every time you tug or drag your feet, your handler's tension meter climbs. At first they'll wait for you, slow down, maybe let you have a moment. But the more you push it, the less forgiving they get. If the meter fills up completely, your handler gets frustrated and drags you home ending the walk.

The goal is to make the most of every walk — peeing on the best stuff and racking up the highest score you can before time runs out or patience does.

The Art of Peeing

Pee is your most valuable resource. You start each walk with a full bladder and it drains as you "go", so every decision matters.

Targets are scattered along the route and each one is worth a different number of points. But you don't know how much something is worth just by looking at it. You have to stop and sniff first to reveal its true value, Or you can let loose and hope for the best.

Good runs come down to reading the route, sniffing smart, getting drinks as much as you can and spending your pee where it counts. At the end of each walk, you earn a star rating based on how well you did.

Pick Your Handler

Not all handlers are created equal. Each one has different stats — some have longer leashes, some are more patient, some walk faster. You start with one and unlock more as you play.

Choosing the right handler changes how you approach a walk. A patient handler gives you more room to explore, but a faster one means less time to work with. Part of the strategy is picking adjusting your playstyle to maximize points with differnt handlers.

Minigames

Walks aren't just about peeing. Challenges pop up along the route — like obedience training — that test your reflexes and give you a chance to earn bonus points or other rewards.

Achievements

There's a set of achievements to chase, each with a hidden unlock condition. You can see the title of each one, but you won't know what it takes to earn it until you do.

What's Ahead

Im The Dog is early but playable. The core loop works — walking, sniffing, peeing, tension management — and the foundation is in place for a lot more.

Future updates would include new walking maps, additional handlers, more minigames, and further visual polish and animations.

Platform
