Mission Statement

What This Is

Sunspark is a small creative studio and business container for shipping my creations out into the world. I work primarily with code and clay, making things that I would like to use. In some ways this is like a startup — in others it is vastly different.

I am building new ideas and marketing and trying to grow quickly, but I want stability and something that lasts. Im not looking for a buyout or a quick gamble on making it big. This is more than just one idea, Its an ecosystem of services and products that can support each other. Using higher earning endeavors to fund less likely to succeed passion projects and experimental art.

What I Make and Why

When I think about how my life could be better, easier, or improved in some way, I look for a solution. Sometimes when I can't find one I go ahead and make it myself. Now that coding is so much easier, I'm excited to be able to make so many more things and improve life in who knows how many ways not just myself but others as well.

How I Think About It

I care about making things that reduce friction. I want to make the world better, easier, and more comfortable even if just in a small way for a few people.

Art, to me, is more of a mindset than a category. You can bring that same care to a piece of software, a ceramic mug, or a game mechanic. Sunspark studios is a way for me to put that all under one roof.
